Non-Political and Non Profit organization

PERTALIAN was established in 1996 to:
Enable Malaysians and French to meet, exchange information and ideas. In addition, we welcome and provide assistance to Malaysians newly arrived in France; PFM is here to promote exchanges between France and Malaysia.

As a platform of exchange, be it on the corporate level, economic collaboration, social events, cultural promotions or on a more individual, personal level, PFM 's aim is to meet the needs of all of our members. As such, we are eager to hear your suggestion as we constantly strive to enhance our offerings and to continuously look for new ways to increase our level of services throughout the year. We are here for Malaysians to come together and feel at home in France. We are also here for those who wish to learn more about Malaysia. We hope to be able to be of service to you in whatever way we can.

As Malaysian who are spouses, relatives or friends of French citizens, Pertalian members, more than most, are offered an intimate perspective of the interrelationships of these two cultures.   This unique vantage point enables us to be ideally suited in helping our two countries forge closer ties. Pertalian also takes special pride in our ability to offer our contribution in the bolstering of Malaysia's positive image in France

Pertalian is an association in which the members are of service to one another in many large and small ways. This is of particular value to newly arrived Malaysians who come with a variety of special needs. These needs become especially acute for those that do not speak the language and Pertalian often is of invaluable service to them.

In addition, Pertalian enables its newly arrived members to meet and exchange

information with existing members and to kept abreast of the often subtly changing developments in Malaysia.

Besides providing assistance to Malaysians in France, one of Pertalian's goals is to promote awareness of Malaysia and the Malaysian culture in France. We also started a regularly published newsletter, called Itik, which offers news on Malaysia as well as events happening in France related to Malaysia. In addition to being of service to its individual members, Pertalian also strives to enable French and Malaysian companies to develop contacts and business links with each other.  Although Pertalian is a relatively small non-profit organization, we are especially proud of our ability to attract a growing list of prestigious corporate sponsors, among which are EADS and Matra BAe Dynamics(MBDA).

Every members of Pertalian volunteers their time, effort and often their personal resources to ensure the success of the organization.

PERTALIAN means "link" and Pertalian is your link between France and Malaysia

as it strives to help you maintain and enhance your personal and your professional relationships between the two countries.   0 PFM is comprised of members who

understand, in a very profound way, your unique desire to maintain your links at home

as your strive to strengthen your links in France.

And through PERTALIAN FRANCE-MALAISIE, we hope to strengthen this link.  

We relish our role in making sure all of your links are forever strong and enduring.

L’objectif de PERTALIAN FRANCE-MALAISIE est de créer un environnement où des

malaisiens et des amis de la Malaisie peuvent s’enrichir mutuellement. Nous existons pour rassembler les malaisiens et faire qu’ils retrouvent un peu de leur patrie en France,

mais aussi pour tous les non malaisiens, qui veulent en savoir plus sur notre pays.

Bien qu’il y ait des milliers d’associations en France, il n’y en a qu’une, où nous malaisiens pouvons nous sentir chez nous, et c’est Pertalian France Malaisie.

Cette association unique a été créée pour vous et nous espérons vous servir

 de la meilleure façon. Nous nous réjouissons de vous voir nous rejoindre dans notre association pour permettre à Pertalian d’encore mieux servir chacun de vous.

We are proud to be MALAYSIANS and we take pride in sharing our CULTURE and FESTIVAL with the French society.

L'association PERTALIAN FRANCE-MALAISIE-qui signifie "lien" en Malais-vise a promouvoir les echanges socio-culturels entre la Malaisie et la France ainsi au'a servir de point de rencontre et d'entraide pour les Malaisiens residents en France.
